Today was supposed to be rainy but it turned out not to be, It was cloudy to begin with but later the sun came out. We went to see three places today The first one was the town of Isle -sur-la -Sorgue. This was town known is the Venice of Provence as the River Sorgue runs through it. It was market day today so we looked at all the stalls. I bought a couple of packages of herbs and an apron. We then walked through the town and ate lunch before going on to the next town. Our next stop was the small village of Pernes-les-Fountaines. It was a small but nice vil;age. Our last stop was Venasque. It sits on top of a mountain and is considered on of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. It really was qite beautiful. After walking around the village we headed back to Le Mas Cache but not before stopping in Gordes for some ice cream. Here are some pictures from today.
